DESPATCH  We will normally dispatch your order within 48 hrs excluding holidays and weekends.  This time may be extended during peak periods.

We are not responsible for delays in your shipment under ANY circumstances.

DELIVERY TIMES are approximate from when your order is picked up:  Geelong, Melbourne and Suburbs, Adelaide 1-2 days. Sydney, Central Coast 2-3 days. Tasmania, Brisbane, Newcastle 3-4 days.  Most other SA, NSW, QLD 3-4 days apart from remote areas. Perth: 7-10 days. Remote: 7-10 days.

We DO NOT SHIP to PO Boxes & Parcel Lockers - Please supply suitable daytime street address where a signature upon delivery can be obtained. If you will be unavailable during business hours, please consider having your order sent to a work address, neighbour or relative.

Authority to Leave
If you would prefer for the delivery person to leave the parcel for you in your absence, please just put an authority to leave note (ATL) and your preferred location for the items to be left in the  Message section during the checkout process. For example "If no one is home ATL front door". Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that the person making the delivery will specifically follow the location instructions exactly but, delightfully, we have used this authority to leave many hundreds of times without any issues.

It is important to consider that if you give us authority to leave the consignment in your absence then we can no longer guarantee that you will receive your consignment, nor the other factors that can affect your parcel whilst it is sitting unattended - like theft, rain, heat, dirt, damage, etc. In this situation, we can only guarantee delivery and quality up to the point that the track and trace tells us the goods were left for you.

IN-TRANSIT  Once a shipment leaves us it is in the hands of the shipping company. Very occasionally, and sometimes out of the control of anyone, shipments may get delayed. Geelong Fireworks accepts no responsibility for these delays and the impact they may have. We are always happy to assist you in finding out when your shipment will arrive, though you understand that once a parcel leaves us it is out of our control.

If a parcel is lost in transit we cannot give a refund or replacement of product until a full investigation is done with the freight company which can take up to 4 weeks from time we are notified your goods have not been received.

Cancelled Orders & Returning Merchandise
This document provides you with the correct procedures for returning a product, your rights as a consumer and also governs the rules for these procedures. 

Submitting an order online is making a contract to purchase those items, if you choose to cancel your order after it has gone to processing a 20% restocking fee will be charged. Orders can be processed within minutes of ordering.

You may only return goods for a refund less 20% restocking fee and less our shipping charges or request a refund within 7 business days of receiving your order providing all the guidelines set out in this document have been met.

When returning merchandise, please make sure these steps are taken:

  • Notify us via email.

  • Include a brief note explaining the reason for the return.

  • All returned items must be sent via prepaid shipping with the shipping cost being paid by the customer, this is not refundable.  Returns sent COD shipping will be refused.

  • Credit will be given only for items that we physically receive and inspect. To avoid any complications, be sure that you insure your return shipment.

  • Returns must be in brand new, mint condition where possible, in the original, undamaged manufacturers packaging including all packaging materials.

  • All items returned without fault will incur a 20% re-stocking fee. This fee is not negotiable. Please choose your products carefully.

Restocking charges are catered for under ACCC guidelines. 

All magic/flash props are NOT returnable under any circumstances. Please read purchase guidelines on the appropriate web pages.

Colour Smoke, Sparklers, Flash Paper products are NOT returnable under any circumstances.  Due to the nature of these products we need to insure the integrity of the product, ie. not kept in damp conditions, crushed etc.  We are sure you would not like to buy a less than new product. 

Actor cigarettes/cigars etc which possibly could have been used in mouth.

Air Squib Systems.  Sorry, but ensure they are right for the job to us...and practice.  We have had these used in films etc, returned as "no good" then seen them work perfectly in the final production! 

DVD's and Books

Confetti Cannons - these are individually produced to order, and we are unable to "test" they are still in working order.

PayPal Refunds and Cancelled Orders
PayPal will no longer be refunding the seller the fees from a transaction that is fully or partially refunded.

If an order is cancelled for any reason, your refund will be less the PayPal seller transaction fee. This fee is a percentage of total plus a set transaction fee. This amount can be found on the PayPal website
