INDOOR FIREWORKS (Pyrotechnics/Close Proximity)

More common place than ever before is the art of Indoor Pyrotechnics to create special effects and theatrical artistry.

Depending on the scope of the task involved, indoor pyrotechnics run from under a thousand dollars for stage effects to over $20,000 for major concert and sporting events.  Indoor Pyrotechnics make a sales launch, convention or any corporate presentation have a POWERFUL, MEMORABLE impact on your team.

OTHER COSTS

Other variables that can affect the cost of your fireworks program include permit fees, emergency support services, utilization of special rigging and support equipment, barge fees for river displays, etc.  Provision of water tankers if specified by the CFA if a permit is granted on a day of Total Fire Ban.

There are a number of things that affect the length of your display and its price. Large shells and some special types of fireworks are more expensive; multiple firing stations mean we are using more fireworks in a given amount of time. The benefit of using a larger budget means that you get a more entertaining display.


WHAT WILL I RECEIVE FOR MY MONEY?

You get a fantastic fireworks entertainment package! You receive free planning, consultation, and a safety inspection of your location. You will also receive a free, no obligation, fireworks display quote. We provide a professional crew to set up, shoot the fireworks, and clean up after the display.  We also provide $20 million liability insurance for the display.


WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS TOO BAD FOR A DISPLAY?

It is very rare that we have to cancel for weather related reasons. We can shoot a display in light rain or even snow. If the weather makes conditions unsafe, we will postpone or cancel the show. High winds or extremely dry conditions may require us to postpone the display. A safe show is the most important thing. In fact in all our years of operation WE have never cancelled a display ..... only at the direction of the CFA.
The CFA has final say on displays which may be effected by Total Fire Bans.

If your event is more than one day or will be rescheduled due to poor weather, we can schedule an inclement weather date. This means we would fire the show on the alternate date if necessary.


WHAT IF MY EVENT IS ONLY FOR ONE DAY?

We realize you cannot usually reschedule a wedding or anniversary, however we do incur some unrecoverable costs when we have to cancel because of weather.  These are fully explained in our Display Terms and Conditions which will be sent to you.

All of the prices quoted by Geelong  Fireworks are totally inclusive, and cover materials, insurance, transport, display set-up, firing, de-rigging, our site surveys and risk assessments. There are no extra charges unless optional extras are added and these will clearly be identified on your proposal.


WHERE ARE YOUR FIREWORKS FROM?

We have a range of well over 2000 different firework effects to choose from when choreographing our displays. The majority of which are sourced from China, after all it is the home of Fireworks! We also chose a number of product lines from other selected companies in other countries. The important thing to recognise is that we only utilise premium products in our displays, and go to great lengths to ensure we use only the best products available in your display!


HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SET UP FIREWORKS?

Our display teams are usually able to set up a display in a matter of hours. The actual set up time is normally dependant on the type of display and budget. The set up times required for your display will be clearly explained to you when you make your booking.


DO I NEED TO CONTACT ANYONE?

The answer to this question is usually dependant on your event location. As a guide, the Geelong Fireworks team will take care of liaising with the event venue and will inform all of the relevant authorities that a fireworks display is to take place.  When your display is on private land, we would advise that it is only courteous for you to advise locals of your plans, particularly when livestock or horses are in close proximity. Certain councils have specific requirements for letter box notification etc and the event organiser is to undertake this or Geelong Fireworks will quote.


WHAT FIREWORKS WILL BE IN MY DISPLAY?

The type of fireworks we chose for your display will be based on a number of factors, including safety and the amount of space we have to perform the display. We will always aim to tailor make the colours scheme to your choice and include any specific effects you would like to see, as long as it is safe to do so. Our display designer will discuss your requirements during the design phase of your display, and you can have as much or as little input to the final show in terms of colour and effects as you wish!


CAN THE DISPLAY BE A SURPRISE?

With some sites (and some sizes of displays) this is just not possible.  However please ask and we will do out best! 


ARE YOU INSURED?

As a professional display company we carry a year round $20 Million  insurance policy to cover all of our display activities. We have never claimed on our policy.


DO YOU CLEAN UP AFTERWARDS?

Yes!  We endeavour to clean up as much as possible, however there will always be a few small bits of cardboard left which will soon disappear when the site is mowed.  Council property, ie parks etc,  may require COMPLETE cleanup which is often done the next day.  This will be included in your price.  If the display is on YOUR OWN PROPERTY and if you are happy for us to remove the majority of post display waste, then we can include extra product in your display rather than clean up costs :-) !!!    We find that venues come back to us as their preferred supplier again and again because we respect their venue and requirements.


CAN WE START THE DISPLAY OURSELVES?

Most certainly.  We offer remote control for the start of the display or our famous BLASTING BOX (think coyote and roadrunner cartoons) HERE.


CAN I BUY FIREWORKS FROM YOU?

As a pro active and dynamic fireworks display company, Geelong Fireworks are active members of  the Pyrotechnics Industry Association of Australia.
All of our display teams are trained  by our Master Pyrotechnician and ongoing training throughout the year ensures our activities are controlled and as safe as possible.
